Albir is an unusually good place to be on a scooter. The seafront is level, wide and lined with palms, and the distance from one end to the other is the sort that is pleasant on wheels and tiring on foot.
A promenade that suits a scooter
The Albir seafront runs in a straight, level line, which is exactly what these machines are good at. There are no long climbs on the promenade itself.
Winter hires and Dutch service
A lot of Albir hires run from October to March. If yours does, ask for the month rate: 225 euro for the Donata, 265 for the Tunder, with a service partway through.
