Airport assistance takes you as far as the terminal door. After that you are on your own, with luggage, in the heat. Visitors staying in Alicante itself often want the scooter from the first afternoon rather than the second morning.

60 to 80 km for the Donata, 80 to 100 km for the Tunder. A day of city riding does not come close to either, so an overnight charge is plenty.
